Have you ever interrupted your Saturday morning shower just to run outside and take a photo?  I did just that today.

I could see kites in the sky down by the water this morning, and due to the angle which I saw it from the street was far too enthusiastic and thought they were directly in front of the lifeguard station.

No dice.

I did, however, manage to enjoy some beautiful weather as I was able to capture the kite-flyers anyways.  (Is that what you call people who are flying kites?)

I could have explained the project and asked the kind folks with the kite to fly it directly in front of the station, but that would have broken some of the ground rules I’ve set out.

Oh well.  There’s always tomorrow.  Until then.
