I happened upon the Beaches Spring Sprint this morning purely by chance.
I don’t work until 3 p.m. this afternoon. With the federal liberal convention also happening this weekend, in any normal circumstance I would be in bed as long as possible in preparation for a long day ahead of me. A little begrudgingly I woke up at the same time as my better half as he headed off to work. I’m happy I did.
I’ve shot dozens of marathons over the years while working for the various papers. It was surprisingly challenging for me to break the normal routine of how I would approach the situation. Limiting yourself to one shooting spot with one background and one basic frame really tests your mind. Especially when you haven’t even had your first coffee.
