Day two.  So far, so good.  With every idea comes an evolution, and this project may undergo some changes through its initial development.  Today I was stopped by a woman who asked me what I was trying to capture.  Pointing at the lifeguard house, I told her quickly what I was doing, even though thousands of photos of the station already existed online.

“That’s okay,” she replied. “It’s all about your personal take on it.”

She is exactly right.  This is one of the main goals of this project.  We see this lifeguard station day after day.  Whether it has been photographed once or ten thousand times, every image will be different.

In the coming days, there may be a refining process brought to this project.  But for now, welcome to day two.
